Documentation & Guides
Everything you need to know about connecting accounts, configuring cloud queues, and maintaining healthy API publishing.
1. Getting Started
Connecting Your Instagram Account
InstaFlow requires an Instagram Professional (Creator or Business) account linked to a Facebook Page. In your dashboard, click 'Connect Instagram' to launch the official Meta OAuth flow. Grant 'instagram_content_publish' and 'pages_show_list' permissions. Personal accounts are not supported by Meta's Graph API.
Connecting Your YouTube Channel
Click 'Connect YouTube' to authorize your Google account. Select the brand channel you want to publish Shorts to and grant video upload permissions. Tokens are rotated automatically in the background.
Your First Single Post
Navigate to the 'Single Post' tab. Drop an MP4 video (under 100MB), type your caption, choose whether to dispatch immediately or pick a scheduled future timestamp, and click 'Schedule Video'.
2. Cloud Bulk Queue & Video Libraries
Preparing Videos in the Media Library
Create organized folders (e.g. 'Hooks & Teasers', 'Podcast Clips') inside your Video Library. Upload raw vertical clips. You can attach default captions, titles, and hashtags to individual saves so they are ready for instant bulk deployment.
Launching a Cloud Bulk Run
From the Bulk Upload tab, click 'Start Bulk Upload'. Select your source media library folder or upload a batch of files. Configure your safety interval (e.g. 1 video every 2 hours) and target social account. You can optionally set an auto-stop limit (e.g. stop after 20 posts or 48 hours).
Closing Your Browser Safely
Unlike legacy uploaders, InstaFlow uses server-side cloud workers. Once a run is created, it is persisted in Cloudflare D1. You do not need to keep your browser tab open or computer running.
3. Video Constraints & Preflight Rules
Supported Video Codecs & Formats
Instagram and YouTube require H.264 video with AAC audio in an MP4 or MOV container. Videos encoded in ProRes, HEVC/H.265, or containing missing audio tracks may be rejected by Meta's media container service.
Aspect Ratio & Duration
Reels and YouTube Shorts require vertical 9:16 aspect ratios (e.g. 1080x1920 pixels). Durations must be between 3 seconds and 15 minutes. For YouTube Shorts, clips must be under 60 seconds to be indexed as Shorts.
File Size Limits
Free plan accounts support up to 50MB per video. Pro, Agency, and Enterprise tiers support up to 100MB per video.
4. Troubleshooting & Error Codes
Instagram Error: 'The media could not be processed'
Meta's rendering server failed to transcode your video. This is typically caused by non-standard variable frame rates (VFR) or audio sample rates other than 44.1kHz / 48kHz. Re-exporting the video at a constant 30fps or 60fps in H.264 resolves this.
OAuth Token Expired or Disconnected
Meta access tokens expire every 60 days. If an account encounters an authentication error, visit your dashboard, click 'Disconnect', and re-connect via OAuth to refresh the session token.
Rate Limit Pause
If your account publishes too many items in an unusually short window, Instagram may issue a temporary 200 or 400 error. InstaFlow automatically pauses the active queue, flags the item, and retries with exponential backoff.
5. Billing & Subscription Management
Changing Plans or Upgrading
You can upgrade from Free to Pro, Agency, or Enterprise at any time. Limits and account slots are updated immediately upon payment verification.
Cancellation & Invoices
Manage your subscription, update payment methods, or download VAT invoices via the Customer Portal link in your Dashboard Settings. You can cancel at any time with no penalties.
